Labels business sold to Blue Star

The receivers of Geon Group New Zealand has sold its labels business to Blue Star Group.

Last month, McGrath Nicol was appointed after the trans Tasman printing firm went into voluntary administration.

The labels business employs 38 people, who will keep their accrued entitlements.

No price has been disclosed.

Geon was bought by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Allegro, two private-equity firms, less than six months ago.
