Commerce Minister Craig Foss has appointed Tina Symmans to the Takeovers Panel for a term of five years.
Mr Foss said she brings a wealth of expertise to the role, including her experience in capital markets and project management.
Keith Taylor is stepping down from the panel after seven years.
