Z Energy has appointed two independent directors, both women, to its board in yet another sign its stock exchange listing is imminent.
Abby Foote is a director of Transpower and of the New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency. She has worked in a range of corporate, treasury and legal roles over the past 20 years.
Justine Munro, a Rhodes Scholar who is internationally recognised in the field of corporate social responsibility and business, community and government partnerships, is currently executive director of Education at Social Ventures Australia.
Currently based in Sydney, Ms Munro will return to New Zealand next month.
One of Z Energy's major shareholders, Infratil, has previously said a listing is planned for the September quarter.
