Stock exchange operator NZX and global telephone company BT Group have signed an agreement to provide NZX's trading and market data services to members of the BT Radianz Cloud community.
NZX head of IT David Godfrey says growing interest in NZX's equity markets and dairy derivatives means it needs to make it easier for international investors to access its services.
Mr Godfrey says the BT Radianz Cloud offers global reach, speed and simple access.
The president of BT's global banking and financial markets, Tom Regent, says the BT Radianz Cloud supports the largest secure networked financial community in the world and brings together participants from across the financial markets' supply chain internationally.
