Synlait Milk has appointed Bill Roest as a non-executive director.
Mr Roest recently retired as chief financial officer of Fletcher Building.
Synlait chairman Graeme Milne said Mr Roest will bring a wealth of experience to the Synlait board.
As a director of Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Mr Roest chairs the audit committee and is a director of the New Zealand Housing Foundation which assists low income families into first home ownership.
