Malaysia Airlines is increasing the number of flights between Kuala Lumpur - Auckland from six to seven per week between 24 November - 27 January.
Tourism Malaysia director Zalina Ahmad said this time of year is an excellent time for New Zealanders to visit her country because this is the driest and sunniest season in the western regions.
She said the December - January period also features year-end sales, making it a bargain destination for shoppers.
