Electricity and gas lines company, Vector, had a flat June quarter with the volume of electricity distributed almost flat at 2,155 gigawatt hours.
That took the volume distributed in the year ended June to more than 8,000 gigawatt hours but that was down 1.1% on the previous 12 months.
Electricity customers rose by 846 in the quarter, taking the annual gain to just over 4,000.
Gas transmission volume was also flat in the quarter and down 5.7% in the year while gas customers rose by 595 in the quarter and by 2,303 in the year.
