Port of Tauranga has appointed Leonard Sampson as commercial manager, replacing Graeme Marshall who will retire at the end of the year after 16 years in the business.
Port of Tauranga chief executive Mark Cairns says Mr Sampson will bring strong commercial acumen to the role and has well established relationships with many of the port's customers.
He was formerly the sales general manager at KiwiRail and worked for Carter Holt Harvey and Mainfreight before that.
