Auckland International Airport Ltd has reported a $178 million annual net profit, up 25%.
The company attributes the increase to higher passenger numbers but says it expects slower growth in the current year.
Underlying net profit was $154 million for the 12 months ended June, up nearly 11% on the previous year.
In February, the airport said to expect a net profit before significant one-offs between $145 - $153 million. However, operating profit was up 4% at $319 million.
Chief executive Adrian Littlewood is forecasting an underlying net profit between $160 - $170 million for the current 12 months.
