ANZ Bank is changing the name of the OnePath investment management business to ANZ Investments from 20 September.
But it will keep the OnePath brand name for life insurance products sold through external financial advisers.
ANZ Wealth New Zealand managing director John Body said wealth management is a key priority for the bank which will be focusing more of its marketing and branding investment into promoting the ANZ Wealth brand.
Mr Body said ANZ is one of the strongest and most recognised financial institutions in New Zealand and it already looks after the retirement savings of more than 500,000 New Zealanders.
He said the name change will make it easier for people to understand who is looking after their money.
