Share market up 2 points

The NZX 50 index finished up 2 points on Monday to close at 3257 on light turnover of $61 million.

ANZ was down $2.51 to $20.50 after cutting its full-year earnings to cover bad debts. Telecom was up 12c to $3.61 and Fletcher Building was down 20c to $6.49.

Contact Energy was up 5 cents to $8.17, Auckland International Airport was down 6c to $1.86, Sky City was up 8c to $3.35 and Tourism Holdings was up 12c to $1.48. NZX was up 35c to $7.60.

The dollar was buying 74.37 US cents, 77.80 Australian cents, 37.36 pence, 80.12 yen and 0.4729 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was 66.37.

Across the Tasman, the Australian 200 index is currently down 69 points to 49 01
