TruScreen signs Austrian deal

The manufacturer of a device that detects cervical cancer, TruScreen, says it has signed an agreement with an Austrian firm to distribute TruScreen in central and eastern Europe.

It says the agreement means the medical services company can distribute to Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Romania, as well as several other markets.

TruScreen says about $150,000 worth of its product has been ordered and will be shipped over this month.

Cooks Global Foods gets Chinese purchase go ahead

Cooks Global Foods says it now has the green light to go ahead with the purchase of the Chinese master franchise for the Esquires Coffee Houses.

It says China continues to be a growth market.

Serko joins with Expedia

The online travel booking tool, Serko, says it has joined with the hotel provider, Expedia, to give its customers the choice to book Expedia hotels on its website.

Serko says the deal means an additional 120,000 properties will be added to its online hotel choices.
