Telecom has lured Saatchi and Saatchi's brand master Kevin Roberts to its board.
Mr Roberts is the advertising agency's worldwide chief executive, and if elected by Telecom's shareholders in October, he will replace the company's retiring director Patsy Reddy.
Telecom's chairman Wayne Boyd says the board will benefit from Mr Roberts' experience in building brands.
