More charges brought against Bridgecorp pair

Bridgecorp boss Rodney Petricevic and finance director Rob Roest appeared in the Auckland District Court on Tuesday on further criminal charges.

Two new charges accuse them of making false statements in a company prospectus and a directors' certificate.

They now facing five charges brought under the Securities Act and the Companies Act.

The charges carry maximum penalties of five years in prison and fines of up to $500,000.

Mr Petricevic and Mr Roest were remanded on bail until 21 October, when they are expected to enter a plea.
