Sky City and Govt extend preliminary design date

Sky City Entertainment Group and the Government have extended the date for approving the preliminary design of the New Zealand International Convention Centre until the end of April.

The casino operator had sought Crown funding to cover a projected shortfall, but was rebuffed by the National-led coalition.

The new agreement, between the two sides, will result in a smaller centre.

VMob signs agreement with 7-Eleven

The mobile marketing firm, VMob, says it has signed an agreement to provide its cloud-based services to the 7-Eleven convenience stores in Australia.

7-Eleven has more than 600 stores across the Tasman.
