The ASB bank has joined other banks in lowering its floating mortgage rates.
The Reserve Bank yesterday reduced the official cash rate to 3 percent.
ANZ, Kiwibank and BNZ all dropped their floating mortgage rates soon after the announcement.
ASB has reduced its variable home loan and Orbit home loan rates by 0.25 percent, effective from the end of the month.
