The well-established skincare products and treatment company, FAB Group, which runs the Caci clinics in this country, is about to open its first shop in up-market West London suburb of Belgravia.

The store is branded Skinsmiths and the company's aim is to open up to 40 clinics throughout Britain over the next two years.

The recently appointed global chief executive, Anna Campbell, said there is a gap in the market in London which it wants to exploit.

"We're pitched between plastic surgery and beauty therapy, there's no-one else that we've seen offering what we offer, and this is a unique opportunity to take a fantastic New Zealand business to the world."

The company has set up an office in London and said it is the start of a multi-million dollar investment through buying established clinics as well as setting up new outlets.

The FAB Group, which is franchise based, has 50 Caci clinics in New Zealand and has previously talked about a possible listing on the local stock exchange by 2019.
