Argentina is to stop using the US dollar as its main means of exchange.
Nearly everywhere in South America, anything of value, such as property, is priced in US dollars.
But last year Argentina and Brazil agreed to start conducting trade between their nations in their respective national currencies.
Now, the ABC reports Argentina wants to make similar arrangements with other Latin American nations as well.
