Pacific Blue is to add a new destination to its domestic network in New Zealand: weekend flights from Auckland to Queenstown will start in September.

The airline says Queenstown will be its fifth New Zealand domestic port.

Pacific Blue has been flying between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch since November 2007. Domestic services to Dunedin were added in July last year.
