Shell deal finalised

Infratil has finalised a deal to buy Shell's petrol stations and stake in New Zealand and the company's stake in New Zealand Refinery Ltd.

In an announcement to the stock market on Tuesday morning, the infrastructure investor and the New Zealand Superannuation Fund said the deal has been completed.

The deal is worth about $750 million.

Infratil was up 1 cent to $1.74 on the NZX50 on Tuesday.
