Jade Software has secured a multi-million dollar contract renewal with Europe's largest freight rail operator DB Schenker Rail.
Jade develops software for the logistics sectors and works with major port and rail operators in Europe, the Middle East, North America and New Zealand.
Managing director Craig Richardson says the contract with DB Schenker is expected to be worth $6 million to $7 million over the next four years.
He says 95% of the company's development work is carried out in New Zealand.
Jade Software employs 352 staff, has offices in Britain, the United States, Australia and New Zealand and turns over about $50 million a year.
