Clearing house directors appointed by NZX

NZX has appointed three directors to the board of a new clearing house it is setting up.

Former investment banker and professional director, Pip Dunphy, will become the independent chair of New Zealand Clearing and Depository Corporation.

Independent business consultant Peter Lockery and solicitor Robyn Dey, who represents the NZX, will also be directors.

There are only three directors on the board.

The clearing house is due to go live on 26 July.
