Scott Technology is to buy a key supplier for about $1.5 million to benefit its growing mining and minerals laboratory business.
The unnamed company is based in Auckland and makes Scott's mining division gold reference materials for distribution worldwide.
Scott, which will look at the company's books before settling the deal, says the acquisition will lift earnings.
