Mobile radio and broadband company Team Talk has told its shareholders it has been shortlisted to provided ultra-fast broadband in the capital.
The company, which is bidding for the Government's ultra fast scheme for the Wellington region, held its annual general meeting in the capital yesterday.
Team Talk's Managing director, David Ware says it's a large contract and "has the potential to be a game-changer" for the company, but the firm's future is not completely dependent on winning it.
Mr Ware told shareholders it hopes to find out sometime in the new year whether its tender has been successful.
