Eastman Kodak is to stop making digital cameras.

The company says it will also end production of video cameras and digital picture frames, and instead concentrate on more profitable divisions like photo printing and desktop inject printers.

The company was founded 133 years ago.

It entered bankruptcy protection on 19 January and says the changes should save it about $US100 million per year.
