Spotless Group has won a contract to provide services for two new construction worker villages in Queensland, Australia.

The contract, which is worth $A45 million, is for the management and maintenance of the villages, which are being set up by QGC Pty Ltd as part of its development of the Queensland Curtis LNG project.

Spotless will be responsible for providing accomodation, housekeeping and catering services for a total of 1650 workers.

The company says it expects to have more than 140 personnel working on the two sites when the villages are at full capacity.

The contract commences in April.
