Specialty milk company A2 Corporation has more than tripled its half-year profit as it boosted sales in Australia.
The listed firm made $3.1 million in the final six months of 2011 compared with $894,000 in the same period in 2010.
Revenue rose by 56% to $30 million.
Chairman Cliff Cook estimates sales of A2 products now account for 4.7% of the Australian fresh milk market, which he says is pleasing given the continuing price discounting of fresh milk across the Tasman.
