The Rugby World Cup helped to push Tourism Holdings back into profit.
The caravan manufacturer and rental operator, which made a loss of $1.3 million last year, has posted a profit of $4.2 million for the six months ending December.
Operating revenue rose 37% to $108 million.
Chief executive Grant Webster says the Rugby World Cup boosted rental revenues by $4.2 million.
He says Tourism Holdings expects a full year profit of between $5 - $6 million, compared to last year's loss of more than $27 million dollars.
It also announced a dividend of 2 cents per share.
Earlier this week, the company announced a partnership with Kea Manufacturing to create RV Manufacturing Group, which will buy the motorhome and caravan manufacturing businesses of the two companies.
