The NZX 50 index is down 5 points to 3323 on turnover of $101 million on Thursday.
Fletcher Building was down 4 cents to $6.47, Telecom was down 1.5 cents to $2.15 and Chorus was unchanged at $3.25.
Sky City Entertainment was up 2 cents to $3.82 and Sky Television was up 2 cents to $5.18.
Tower was unchanged at $1.45.
Contact Energy was down 2 cents to $4.80.
Port of Tauranga was up 6 cents to $10.86.
At 5.08pm the dollar was trading at 82.87 US cents, 77.95 Australian, 52.88 pence, 66.40 yen, and 0.6250 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 73.22.
