New Zealand have now won six medals on the velodrome, with Natasha Hansen taking silver in tonight's women's sprint and Dylan Kennett taking bronze in the men's individual pursuit.

Natasha Hansen won New Zealand's third silver medal after being beaten in the final of the women's sprint by Australia's defending Games champion Stephanie Morton.

Hansen was well beaten 2-nil in the best of three race final as Morton comfortably rode her way to gold.

Dylan Kennett dominated his race to beat Australia's Jordan Kerby by more than four seconds at the velodrome in Brisbane.

Kennett said winning bronze was really special "I watched Marc Ryan win medals four years ago (at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games), and to beat Jordan Kerby here was good."
