Para javelin thrower Robinson claims silver with PB

New Zealand para athlete Holly Robinson has won silver in the women's javelin at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games with a personal best throw of 43.32m.

She was beaten by her arch-rival, Paralympic champion Hollie Arnold of Wales, who broke her own world record with a throw of 44.43 metres.

Robinson's best throw had also broken the world record, before Arnold produced the throw of the night and the best in history.

It's the second para medal of the Games for New Zealand following swimmer Sophie Pascoe's win in the women's 200m individual medley.

Pascoe will tonight chase her second gold in the women's 100m breaststroke.
