New Zealand has won gold in the women's squash doubles at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Jaclyn Hawkes and Joelle King defeated England's Jenny Duncalf and Laura Massaro in two games, despite trailing in the second.

Hawkes and King won the first game 11-9, but looked untidy at times in the second, and soon trailed England 10-6.

But the New Zealanders rallied and won the next five points to take the second game 11-10 and secure the gold.

Silver for mixed doubles

Joelle King followed up her gold medal performance with a silver in the mixed doubles, paired with Martin Knight.

King and Knight played the Australian pairing of Kasey Brown and Cameron Pilley.

The New Zealanders took the first game 11-8, but lost the second 11-7 and the third 11-5.
