Italian kayaker Daniele Molmenti has won the final of the Olympic canoe slalom.
The 28-year-old paddled a perfect race at the Lee Valley White Water Centre, crossing the finish line in 93.43 seconds on Wednesday.
Vavrinec Hradilek from the Czech Republic took silver, while German Hannes Aigner had to settle for bronze.
New Zealander Mike Dawson did not qualify, having finished 15th in the semifinal held earlier on Wednesday.
Dawson, 25, finished last when he failed to get through gates 19 and 20.
