There are delays on State Highway 1, north of Wellington, after a car towing a boat flipped and collided with another vehicle.
The crash happened at 4.05pm on Sunday near the Whenua Tapu Cemetery, between Plimmerton and Pukerua Bay, in the south-bound lanes.
No injuries have been reported from the scene.
One lane has now reopened, and the police say traffic is moving slowly through the area.
Tranz Metro says buses replacing trains between Porirua and Waikanae are running up to an hour late due to the crash.
