Police in Wellington have arrested and charged a man, 22, in relation to several recent nighttime burglaries in the suburb of Kilbirnie.
The crimes featured on the television programme Police Ten-7, and police say they arrested the man after viewers responded with information.
Charged with three counts of burglary, he appeared in the Wellington District Court on Saturday.
He is due to reappear on 23 March.
