A man will appear in the Masterton District Court on Thursday after police found his one-year-old baby alone in a car outside a pub.
Wairarapa detectives were called to the Kuripuni Tavern just after 11pm on Saturday and found the girl in her car seat outside the bar.
A 10-year-old and an 11-year-old who were also in the man's care were found alone at a Masterton house.
Police say they have notified the appropriate agencies.
The 39-year-old faces charges including driving with excess breath alcohol and the wilful neglect of the three children.
