Christchurch City Council's plan for the next year goes out for public consultation on Friday
The plan outlines a proposed rates increase of 7.4% and options for the rebuilding of 10 key facilities, including a convention centre and a central-city sports facility.
Some of those facilities could also be affected by the decisions to be made by the newly created central city rebuild unit within the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority.
A four-week consultation period on the council's draft plan starts today, and booklets on it will be sent to all households over this weekend.
