Police in Auckland are investigating a hit and run in the suburb of Glenfield that has left a pedestrian seriously injured.
A spokesperson says after talking to witnesses, the police are following leads to find the vehicle and driver.
Glenfield Road is closed between Coronation Road and Roberts Road and the police are advising motorists to avoid the area for the rest of Saturday night.
