Police are appealing for the public's help to find a man missing from Christchurch's Hillmorton Hospital on Friday.
Detective John Borlase says Raymond Stewart Powell, 65, was last seen in Ashburton on Friday and may still be in Mid-Canterbury or South Canterbury.
Mr Powell is described as Pakeha, 172 centimetres tall and of medium build.
He was last seen wearing light-coloured trousers and a blue jacket with green trim.
Mr Borlase says at this stage, there are no serious fears for Mr Powell's safety but he does need medication.
Police want to find Mr Powell as soon as possible and are appealing for any information or sightings of him.
