A report into a fatal coolstore explosion and fire in April at Tamahere, near Hamilton, will be issued on Tuesday.
One firefighter died and seven were badly injured when the Icepak coolstore exploded as firefighters responded to an alarm.
An inquiry team set up by the National Fire Commander has investigated the cause of the explosion, how prepared the fire service was to manage the incident and its response.
The inquiry team was not asked to attribute fault, blame or liability.
Its report will be issued at midday by Fire Service Commission chair Dame Margaret Blazey and National Fire Commander Mike Hall at the Hamilton Central Fire Station.
