A three-year-old boy is in a serious condition after being rescued from a house fire in Invercargill.
The Fire Service was alerted the fire in the Teviot Street house just after 8am on Friday.
A St John Ambulance spokesperson says the boy had suffered serious smoke inhalation and was in a critical condition.
Two adults were treated for minor smoke inhalation, and another for an injured foot.
