A truck crash forced the closure of the Hope Saddle on State Highway 6 between Nelson and Murchison on Tuesday morning.
Police say a truck and trailer unit rolled on just before 9am. The driver was not injured.
The road was expected to be closed for some time while the truck is removed and police say the only way around the site is through St Arnaud and Blenheim.
