Korean family to visit bush grave

3:11 pm on 21 October 2008

The family of a Korean tourist, whose body was found in a bush grave off State Highway 6 on the West Coast last week, will come to New Zealand to visit the site.

Police say Jae Hyeon Kim was murdered in a layby off the highway in 2003 and buried by his killers.

One man has admitted a charge of murder and will be sentenced at the High Court in Wellington on 5 December. A second man has pleaded not guilty.

Detective Inspector John Winter says Mr Kim's mother and brother will attend the sentencing and visit the site where he died near Charleston, south of Westport.
