A 38-year-old man is to appear in the Auckland District Court charged with the murder of a man he lived with.
Police say the 36-year-old man's body was found on Wednesday at a property in the suburb of Balmoral.
Spokesperson Noreen Hegarty says both men lived at the Balmoral Road address, but it is unclear how well they knew each other.
The man will appear in court on Thursday.
