A vehicle has crashed into a power pole in south Auckland, killing one person and leaving another seriously injured.
The vehicle, carrying two people, hit a power pole on on Massey Road, Mangere, about 5am on Sunday.
One person died at the scene and the other was been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Massey Road was closed at the intersection with and Ferguson Street and diversions are in place.
