Police have completed their scene examination following the discovery of a woman's body in a Whangarei stream on Friday.
A number of items of interest have been located which the police say will assist them with their investigations.
The 21-year-old's body was discovered in the stream in Tawera Road at around 2am.
Police want to hear from anyone who was on Tarewa Road between Walton Street and Porowini Avenue at this time.
They are also keen to locate a black LG cellular phone, which they believe belonged to the victim.
A Whangarei man appeared in court on Saturday charged with murder and will reappear on Monday.
