NZ beat Argentina 21-5

8:43 pm on 9 September 2012

In wet and windy conditions, the All Blacks have beaten the Pumas 21-5 in Wellington.

The All Blacks led 6-5 at half time.

All Blacks Corey Jane and Julian Savea scored tries while First Five Aaron Cruden kicked three penalties and a conversion.

Agentina were unable to add to their first half unconverted try by Rodrigo Roncero.

Stadium in the dark

A power surge in the capital left the game in the dark this evening.

Just as the teams were returning to the field after half-time, the lights went off in the stadium, leaving only the changing rooms and corporate boxes with light.

The cause of the blackout was a brief power surge that affected much of the city.

Because the stadium's lights needed time to turn back on, the crowd of 30,000 was left in the dark.

Ten minutes later the lights were back on and the two teams returned to the field.
