Christchurch police are seeking information on two suspicious fires in the suburb of New Brighton in the early hours of Saturday.
The Fire Service was called to a storage yard on Owles Terrace shortly after midnight, where a bus and a truck were alight.
A short time later an abandoned red zoned house on Bexley Road was discovered on fire and has been almost completely gutted.
Both fires appear to have been deliberately lit.
