A teenager has been charged in connection with the discovery of a body in the Auckland suburb of Mt Wellington.
A 17-year-old appeared in the Manukau District Court on Tuesday charged with assault and police say further charges are likely.
The dead man was found on Hillside Rd on Sunday. Emergency services got a phone call from an anonymous caller who later came forward and was interviewed.
Police are still looking for a number of other people in relation to the death.
They say someone has come forward to identify the dead man and his next of kin are being informed.
