The Government is offering support to New Zealanders seriously affected by the 2002 Bali bombings to attend the 10-year anniversary ceremony in Thailand.

More than 200 people were killed in the bombings on the 12 October 2002, including three New Zealanders, and many more were seriously injured.

Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully says the Government is keen for those affected by the attack to be able to be in Bali to mark the anniversary.

Government assistance is available for up to two family members of those killed in the attack and for individuals who were seriously injured.
